Hi! My name is Charlotte Hogg. I am a qualified florist and have a background in art and design; specializing in fresh flower creations. I work with Maja Holman on bigger projects; having formed Flowerswork together. We are based in Devon with vast knowledge, experience and a perfectionist’s touch
There is no shop, there are no set prices or tick boxes. We tend to work from our home or at your venue. We source from reliable wholesalers and aim to be seasonal and sustainable which allows us to offer a wide range of plants and flowers. We also use our local environment: hedgerows, my allotment and our gardens
I have a full range of china/glass/enamelware that I use to dress your event; adding a unique touch and a bit of the wow factor. I can add the odd prop or two, from feathered flamingos (my personal favourite) to vintage tea sets, pebbles and cauliflowers.
Our aim is to offer a personalized service for your entire flower needs: wedding, party, funeral or remembrance service. With our expertise and understanding we can transform your ideas into a reality; recommending which foliage and flowers to use for your event. What we do is unique and innovative and personalized for you.
Weddings:
We do everything from: Classical brides’ bouquets to hand tied posies of mixed seasonal flowers bound with twine for bride or bridesmaids.
Rose buttonholes to 50s style wrist corsages.
Table centre floral arrangements to wall wreaths and we can decorate the marquee/barn/church etc. Anything can be achieved!
Parties:
We do all types of celebration from themed parties to pop up restaurants; we have used Blue Moon roses for an Elvis themed party with blue suede shoes.
We can produce fun floral centerpieces for your tables or provide simple glasses or decanters with single flowers that can be interspersed between platters of food.
Funerals:
‘There’s rosemary, that’s for remembrance; pray, love, remember.’
I do the most beautiful coffin sprays, wreaths and decorations for funerals and remembrance services. We can personalize the flowers with memories of loved ones & photos can be incorporated to celebrate a special person’s life.
